System
from Medtronic is a web-based tool that downloads all of the important glucose data from each of your devices. The data is converted into clear and easy to understand information that you and your healthcare professional can use to chart your pump progress, and make adjustments, when needed.
Medtronic CarelinkTM Management System is a practical way to chart your blood glucose fluctuations. It allows you to compare changes in your blood glucose levels against daily activities such as meals, exercise, and sleep. This online system helps you to better control your diabetes by collecting and comparing useful information from each of your diabetes tools, including your:
- Paradigm® insulin pump
- Blood glucose meter
- Logbook
Medtronic CareLinkTM management system combines information from these tools to make charts and graphs that can help you and your healthcare professional discover trends and other information that can lead to improved care.
Getting Started is as Easy as 1...2...3!
- To sign up for the Medtronic CareLinkTM system, all
you need is a computer with access to the Internet, and any Paradigm® 515/715 or
higher pump. You'll also need a LinkTM downloading cable and a LinkTM meter to
get connected. Simply go to http://carelink.minimed.com and click the "Sign Up
Now" button to register for the system.
- Sign in using your newly created username and
password.
- Upload your data to the Medtronic CareLinkTM System from your Paradigm® insulin pump and select BG meters, click the
"Upload" tab, and then follow the easy to follow onscreen directions.
Now You Have Round-The-Clock Control
Each time your pump is uploaded, Medtronic CareLink® System stores your insulin use and glucose values as an individual file.
You can view the information at any time. Simply select
and print the reports you need for your next appointment with your healthcare
provider.
