Medtronic Insulin Pumps
Are you eligible for a Medtronic Insulin Pump?

Many private insurance providers in Canada provide varying levels of coverage for insulin pumps and supplies in group and individual health plans.

The Insurance Eligibility Process

You begin by allowing us to evaluate your insurance plan for eligibility and coverage. We will work with your insurance company to determine the amount that your plan typically covers specifically for pump and supplies.

Once the insurance evaluation is initiated by MRAC, someone from Medtronic Diabetes will work with you through the steps to get an insulin pump. They will stay in contact with you, assisting you right through to the end of the process.

Reimbursement Approval

When your eligibility and coverage are confirmed, your insurance company will notify you, usually with a letter. You may be able to review your insurance benefits online as well. Please get in touch with your Medtronic Diabetes contact when you receive your confirmation. They will help you through the rest of the process.

Once you have purchased and received your pump, Medtronic will contact your insurance provider for your pump and supplies coverage reimbursement.
