Live your life the way you want with a system that works like
a real pancreas1,2
The transmitter is a small, lightweight, waterproof device that attaches to your skin with an adhesive patch and receives data from the sensor.
A tiny waterproof sensor monitors your glucose levels, day and night. It's easily inserted using the automatic insertion device provided with the system.
The transmitter sends the data to the monitor through advanced radio frequency (RF) wireless technology, so you can view your glucose levels whenever and wherever you want.
The insulin is delivered through a soft, tiny tube.
The tube connects to the cannula - a soft, small, and flexible rubber tube that is inserted under your skin and delivers insulin via a tiny, continuous drip. An adhesive patch holds the infusion set in place.
The insulin pump is small, so you can wear it under your clothes or attached to your belt.
Experience fewer injections
If you take insulin by multiple daily injections, you give yourself approximately 120 injections a month, or 1440 each year. That's a lot of injections.*
People who switch to the Paradigm® REAL-Time System reduce that number to 12 infusion set insertions each month approximately 144 per year.**
*Based on four injections per day for 30 days.
**Based on one infusion set change every two to three days.
Nothing gets in your way
Now, no matter where you are or what you're doing,
you can react promptly and proactively to highs and lows because the glucose
monitor is constantly monitoring your levels.*
*A confirmatory fingerstick reading is required before taking action
